NSW: Two killed when car smashes into parked truck
SYDNEY, Feb 17 AAP - Two men died when the car they were passengers in crashed into
a parked truck in Sydney's east overnight.
Police said the men, a 21-year-old from Kensington and a 25-year-old from Wollongong,
south of Sydney, died after the 8pm (AEDT) accident on Anzac Parade at Kensington.
The 22-year-old male driver from Kingsford was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital.
Another passenger, a 22-year-old man from Randwick, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
Both suffered lacerations and bruising to the head and face.
The force of impact pushed the truck into a power pole, which snapped about four metres
above the ground and landed on an unoccupied vehicle.
No other persons were injured.
