The town celebrates its 200th birthday with a weekend of activities, including a parade at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The parade begins on Hudson Road and runs along Perth Road to Sacandaga Road, where it turns north and ends at the Galway school complex.
The parade is being billed as the biggest in the town's history, with more than 80 units, including eight bands and at least 20 floats in four divisions.
Most of the ceremonies center on the village and school, where a craft show, featuring local artists, will run from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. …
