Qld: Imported doctors no solution says AMA
Australia's health system has been likened to the Titanic heading for an iceberg unless
urgent action is taken to turn it around.
AMA president BILL GLASSON says importing doctors on packages that include accommodation
and high hourly rates will never solve the problems of health care in Australia.
Sydney's Sunday Telegraph said public hospitals in New South Wales are offering the
packages to New Zealand doctors to fill weekend emergency …
