ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 22 -- United States Patent no. 7,904,975, issued on March 15, was assigned to IpVenture Inc. (Los Altos, Calif.).
"Real-Time Display of Available Products Over the Internet" was invented by Andre Kruglikov (Atherton, Calif.), Sandeep Nijhawan (San Jose, Calif.), Ajit Ramachandra Mayya (Saratoga, Calif.), Sunil Bhargava (Hillsborough, Calif.), Margaret Sue Lloyd (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Justin Miller (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract released by the U.
S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Computer implemented methods and apparatus for determining availability information for a first one of a plurality of products for publication via a wide area network. The availability information is calculated with reference to a delivery date, an available number of units, and a reserved number of units, the delivery date having been specified by a user via the network, the available number of units having been determined with reference to inventory information, and the reserved number of units having been determined with reference to current order information."
The patent was filed on July 17, 2007, under Application No. 11/879,484.
